I'm not going to vent anything, but I would like to know how you relieve your stress. In other words, what do you do when you want to vent out steam?

I eat while watching anything that my eye catches on the TV. Sometimes I shout at the TV like I was talking to the person whom I'm mad at.

Well, I try to listen to the music I like. That really helps. After that maybe some meditations. Or I just go outside and try to distract myself.

I move away from everyone else to a quiet place, clench a fist, take a deep breath then just relax for a few minutes. I really try to avoid shouting or having any confrontation because it doesn't make me feel any better.

What do you all do when those things don't work out? It's best to distract my mind alone, but sometimes I just want someone to hear me out. There are days when I lash out at my wife for no reason only because I can't handle my frustrations alone. I just feel bad when that happens.

Good question there. Having someone to listen to us is a good way of releasing the steam. I recently attended a support group for grieving individuals and it is a big relief to speak to someone who doesn't judge me for whatever I say.

I'm happy for you. It is definitely hard to find a good listener; I'm still struggling to be one as well. It's ideal to have a few healthy ways to relieve stress as they get to complement each other when we're having a hard time.
Sports also help, though I'm not really a physical person.

When I'm stressed, I like to listen to some music. Sometimes I'll clean while I listen. Sometimes I'll just sing along. Music tends to help me work through whatever mood I'm in.
