Social Groups

[Bewitched]

A few months ago, I found a local group of women who meet up monthly to do some kind of fun activity. This month, it was a painting lesson at a local studio (wine included!) and it was such a blast. It's been a great way for me to let loose, have fun, and stop worrying all the time.

I've been looking through other social groups in my area and I can't believe how many there are! It seems like they have one for everything.

This is a great post!  I am so so happy for you, it is just what the doctor ordered!!!  Getting out and getting involved, meeting new people!  You are on the path to that new happy life, because there is life after EN!

I'm so glad you've found a group of women to do fun things with! Do you know what you'll be doing next month?

We have a lot of social groups here, too, but I haven't checked them out yet. I want to, but I'm a little shy/introverted around strangers, so I get nervous and talk myself out of it.

I think I'll take the plunge, though. With my mom moving in, I'll need something fun to do occasionally to give myself a break from full-time care-taking.
