Hormones after hysterectomy
« on: June 16, 2018, 02:02:04 PM »
I had endometrial cancer and had a total hysterectomy in January. Since then I feel my body has gone downhill SO fast! I have horrible arthritis now in my hands, feet, and knees. I am taking Premarin in the vagina because of rapid atrophy and topical progesterone to balance the premarin. Has any of you lovely ladies received HRT? Bio-identical HRT? I'm only 48 but feel like 60!! Help!! :(

I'm very sorry to hear about your condition. I have a friend who also had a hysterectomy and might have undergone similar pain that you are experiencing right now.

I'm not a doctor so take my advice with a grain of salt and this is what that friend of mine did to help with her recovery. She drank a lot of fresh fruit and vegetable juices. She also stayed in a place where she can have fresh air in the morning and a peaceful sleep at night. Stress can affect our health and removing that will help our body recover faster.
