Avoiding Movie Theatres
« on: July 25, 2017, 12:34:24 PM »
I haven't been to the movie theaters in the last couple of years. It seems that there's always a shooting or something violent happening at them these days and I just don't feel safe. Doe anyone else feel this way?

That's any public place!  Cant let that stop you from living, though.  Say your prayers and go live your life.   :big hug smiley sign:

You've got a good point there Maryb.....it's hard this day and time with everything going on, you just don't know what is going to happen next and where. But it is understandable about being nervous when going out. I actually find myself trying to be very observant now adays! Doesn't hurt to stay on your toes so to speak!

You make a good point Natasha.  However, I lean toward what Maryb said.  We can't hibernate in our homes all the time.  What has happened at movie theaters could easily happen at the grocery store.  Say your prayers and live your life.

We go often... I never even think about someone shooting us. Heck, someone could shoot me at work or on the road. I hate the prices at the theater but I love movies.

Well, there's definitely that risk but that has never stopped me from going to the movie theaters. Like MaryB says, (and I perfectly understand your fears Natasha) we don't have control over our movements in public places.
