A Dog's Purpose

What are your thoughts on this movie? I was excited when I seen it coming out. Then I read the awful information about animal abuse. I'm not sure I want to watch it now. Your thoughts?

I hadn't heard about the rumours until you mentioned it, then I looked it up. I probably won't see the film until it is determined whether animal abuse took place, and if it is confirmed then never. After the nightmare reports that came out about "The adventures of Milo and Otis" which the American Humane Society approved despite not having officers on set, a lot of animal lovers are very sensitive about this.

I've seen a few interviews by some in the movie and from what I understand the video that was 'sold' to TMZ was done several months before and wasn't sold to them until just before the movie was to come out. It was said the it was also edited to look bad when it really wasn't. So I guess you just have to look at it from different perspectives and make your own judgement. Some people out there would sell there mother if it would make them money!

I've seen the videos on animal abuse too. This just confirmed even more for me that I would definitely not be seeing this movie. I had already made up my mind that I would not see it because I cannot sit through a movie that involves the loss of a pet without bawling my eyes out.

I've actually listened to the producer speak about the issue. It makes more sense to me now. I've decided to watch it and am going tonight. I hope it's good. Did anyone see it yet?

I like dogs, but I don't like dog movies. They all seem so corny. I'm sure it's good for what it is, but I'll never pay money to see something like that.
