My niece's family was with us last week. Her 7-year-old son has a set of crooked teeth. She asked me whether it is good for her son to get dental braces. I said that she should let him decide for himself when he is old enough to decide. I'm not sure whether that was the best advice. What will you say if you were in my shoes?
