Title: Driving
Post by: CountryMom on March 23, 2019, 08:53:13 PM
I LOVE to drive. It's probably my favorite activity. I find it very relaxing and it totally clears my mind. I often take the longest possible  route home on purpose. Everyone I know always complains about driving and finds it to be a massive chore. Does anyone here share my love of driving?

I totally love long drives but I know a number of people who dread being behind the steering wheel. CountryMom, do you get that adrenaline rush when speeding? I will join you and MaryB for that road trip.

If I'm on a stretch of empty (bonus points for smooth/newly paved) road, going faster and faster, then yes I get the adrenaline rush. Nothing beats that feeling! Sounds dangerous when I type it out like that, but honestly, it's not!

I’m with you CountryMom I love driving too,  Everytime I go in my car it’s like when I first got it.  I love no passengers though so I can have it warm and cosy and it’s the only time I get to put my 80s tunes on with no one complaining.  X

Driving is the one activity that doesn't make me tired and I particularly love the long lone drives because they help to clear my mind. I also don't talk much when driving and it probably seems rude to some people.
