Be sure to check the carb count on things you are buying or wanting to eat. Remember if counting only 'net' carbs, you can subtract fiber and sugar alcohols you get your net carbs. Some are lower in carbs then others.
Such as Philadelphia cream cheese. It is less then one carb per oz compared to others that are 2! Makes a big difference and believe me, on this way of eating cream cheese is your friend! I'll try to list some recipes for snacks and desserts made with this. :)

I used to have such a hard time remembering to check the label before buying and eating food. I always have to write a reminder on my grocery list and fridge to remember.
