Anyone excited to watch this new remake? I already bought my presale tickets for March 17th. I hope it doesn't disappoint. I loved the original movie but this looks fantastic.

It does look like a good movie. Movies like that though, I've noticed, that have a story line everyone already knows, tend to put more effort into the visuals.

I am very excited about this movie and can't wait to see it. I'm a fairy tale person at heart so that's the reason. Did any of you see "Beauty and the Beast" that came out years ago starring Linda Hamilton and Ron Pearlman? I thought that one was great but a little slow. Looks like this new one will be full of action.

I'm not familiar with this new remake, amsmomm. Is this one animated or with real actors and actresses? I've seen snippets of the animated one and did notice that there was a television series years ago, which I think didn't really take off, but as far as being a full blown fan, I'm not. Is this production mainly for kids?
