Title: Nutty Cream Cheese Bites!
Post by: Jeanine on August 06, 2017, 02:26:27 PM
Wasn't sure if this should go under desserts or snacks but it can satisfy your sweet tooth. :)

This originally called to roll the bites in the pecan pieces but I like to add mine to the cream cheese. Depend on how many 'bites' you make the whole recipe is 10 carbs. So if  you can make up 20 you only have .5 carbs in each one. So just figure it that way.

1 8oz package (Philadelphia) Cream Cheese soften (you soften in microwave safe bowl for about 45 seconds)
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Sweetener...I use 6-8 drops of the EZ-Sweetz (http://www.netrition.com/cgi/goto.cgi?pid=520&aid=4432) Depends on how sweet you like your CC!

Blend CC until smooth....add nuts and sweetener blend it in.

Put in fridge to chill about 30 minutes (to set up some) then spoon on a plate. You can then 'roll' them up or just leave as is. I usually do 1/2 teaspoon for each. As mentioned, you make any size you want and figure the carbs from there.

Carb content is figured with a 0 carb sweetener.

Enjoy!

My, my, my! That's sounds delicious. I will eat just about anything as long as there's cream cheese. It couldn't be any easier either. Thanks for sharing; I can't wait to give this a try! I can't believe it's only ten carbs.
