Title: Still struggling to read
Post by: cherie on August 29, 2018, 02:05:56 PM
I have told myself (countless times) that I need to change my reading habits but eight months down the line, I have made very little progress. I feel like blaming this on time but then it should never be an excuse. How are your faring?

I thought the topic meant that you had a problem with your eyes. As they say, don't judge a book by its cover.
I remembered my father who kept telling me that "if I don't have time for something, then make time for it."

Hi MerryMe, you made me laugh out loud  :) . Well, last week I perused through my stuff and found a lot of books that I used to read back in the day. I have to completely agree with your dad; a lack of time should never been an excuse! I will have to pick myself up and make time.

I use to be a reader, but something happened the years of estrangement, because I lost my love of reading and it just will not come back. I cannot finish a book,  and have tried many, including the 2 on my bed-stand right now.
