Attending Memorial Service

We attended a memorial service yesterday for a friend of ours who was only 42 years old.  He died of a massive heart attack and left behind a wife and 4 children.  This brings back so many memories of my son but the service was a celebration of life and a happy time.  I still have a hard time going to things like this and my husband almost refused to go.  I think they bother him more than they do me.  Surely these kinds of services will get easier. Surely.

I don't know Kidless, we can only hope. It was good that you both went and I can imagine that it was hard. I'm sure his family appreciated it and realized how hard it must have been for you.
