Focusing on the Positive
« on: October 01, 2019, 04:53:28 AM »
Since my youngest left for college, I find myself being more irritated with my husband. I really try not to snap at him over things.

I'm trying to make it a point to remember all the good things about him. It's easy to nit pick, but I think giving your spouse compliments helps build a stronger relationship .

Kids occupy a lot of our time so much so that when they move out, it's like everything goes back to default. I keep telling my husband that it feels like we are dating once more. It is common to get irritated but as you say, appreciating one another, and looking at the positive side of things, can have a lasting effect on a relationship.
