Fixing sore muscles
« on: September 17, 2019, 01:00:20 PM »
I have recently changed my workout routine, and even though the results have been impressive, I have started getting muscle sores. I am opting not to go for pain relief medication. Staying hydrated, jumping into an ice bath immediately after a workout and eating plenty of pineapples are some of the methods that have been of help. What has worked for you before?

Stretching before and after exercise helps. I also find that sometimes a heating pad is helpful. Remember to slowly increase your exercise. You don't want to accidentally end up causing yourself harm.

I didn't know that stretching after exercise is as effective as doing this prior. I decided to go slow and gradually increase my routine so as not to cause any bodily harm. Thank you for your recommendation of the heating pad.
