Tired of falling in love again

I have divorced and my kids have suggested me to join more social events or circles. They said it would be great if I could meet someone I like. I wonder if it is because my kids are worried of me getting too bored as both of them are currently abroad for long term. I don’t know but I feel tired of falling in love and doing this all again after the previous marriage. I don’t know if you guys also feel the same?

Deep inside, your kids yearn to see you fall in love again. As much as you don't desire another relationship, go with their suggestion and attend more social events. You will most likely find interesting people, even without the idea of dating coming up.

I think your kids just want to see you happy. My kids have joked with me that I should start dating again now, too.

It couldn't hurt to go to some social events. Just go to meet some people. Maybe you'll make a new friend or two. Ultimately, your kids just want to know that you are happy.

You guys are right. I’m probably going to more different events with the aim of getting to know more friends instead of finding a new partner. That way I feel more easy and probably I can have more good time.
