Chocolate as a gift idea
« on: August 09, 2019, 01:24:27 PM »
I recently received many chocolates from my friends which make me realize sometimes it could be a bit too much, even though I like my friends and I appreciate their efforts. I used to give chocolates to my family during some special occasions as well. Now I can see chocolate as a gift is too common and it can be overwhelming. Do you guys feel the same?

Personally, I love chocolate, so I'm always happy when someone gives me some! If I end up with a lot of it at the same time, I'll give some to my parents or friends. I always share with my kids, too, so it never goes to waste.

Yes, I like chocolates too. Though I just think the idea of giving chocolates has become too common. I wonder if there are any other better ideas for gifts to be honest...

I also think chocolate is gifted too much. I prefer dark chocolate or something savory. But like with all gifts, it's the thought that counts!

I don't fancy chocolate now because I have been trying to reduce my intake of sugar (in whatever form). I prefer to get someone a more substantial gift (like a book) then add one or two chocolate bars.
