Which herbs should I choose?
« on: July 15, 2019, 12:35:30 AM »
I'm looking for a fun but simple activity to do with my wife in our free time. We are not green thumbs either, so I think we'll just go with a few pots and see how it goes from there. Herbs seem simple enough to grow in such limited spaces, but please correct me if I'm wrong! Which herbs do you recommend for beginners like us?

You should probably go with the ones you will often use. Having cilantro, oregano, or rosemary ready at home seems perfect if you use them in cooking. Some even have medicinal functions. I think you've made the perfect choice in growing herbs at home!

Oregano, rosemary, and basil are all easy herbs to grow. Lots of recipes use them, so you'd get some good use out of them, too! Mint is also easy to grow; that would be great in tea.
