If you still had them around the first time you had an empty nest, did you receive any kind of advice from them? What do you think they would say if they weren't around? I wonder if it would still be relevant despite how different the situation was.

My parents didn’t really experience empty nest so I didn’t actually receive a lot relevant advice on that. But they did always tell me that kids would grow up and I must get it together.
