The Longest Stare

I had the longest stare at my mother's favorite chair today. I was literally daydreaming about when she still alive. You may say that I was reliving the past while staring at that chair. If the puppy did not start licking my toes, then I would still be with my mom in that daydream. I started crying after that.

Thank you, Olive. I think about the past and get lost in thought like you just did. So thankful for the memories, but at the same time so sad that I can't go back and enjoy the moment for real.
