People who impress their beliefs on others

Each of us is free to believe that which we so wish but then it becomes such an issue when someone tries to convince others into conforming to their beliefs. To make matters worse, such people normally don't accommodate the views of other people. Isn't it such a hard task to handle such?

I'll give anyone the time of day to voice their opinion (within reason). I don't take very kindly to people trying to push their way as the only way, though. It's almost as if they know they're wrong, so they don't want the opportunity to get into a debate where you can prove them wrong...

I am interested in learning about other people and their beliefs. I'm always happy to listen to what other people believe and think. What I don't like, though, is when someone tries to convince me that I should believe the same way they do.

I appreciate invitations to churches, temple, etc., but if I decline, I don't like it when someone keeps pressing me to go.

I think we should all respect each other's beliefs, thoughts, and opinions.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of such people in today's society. It is a good thing to accommodate other people's views and not to shut them down when they attempt to say something.
