Any Hydrangea lovers out there?

I love these plants but have never had any in my garden/yard until now. :) I planted a few of them and a few days later they are all wilted! I'm hoping it is just a phase they are going through and will perk up.....hopefully?


Just thought I'd check  here to see if anyone had any tips before I start a Google search. :(

I am having trouble with them here for some reason.   I had them before and the lady across the street has them, and they do good, but here I've lost 3 so far.   I love them so much!

Well Elizabeth I'm glad you asked this question because I'm having the same problem! I've been trying to read up on the situation but just get more confused as I read.  :(  I'm thinking it might be the soil so am going to add some stuff that is suppose to help and will see what happens. I've also trimed the blooms off since they were heavy with them. Sooo will see what happens.


A good sign, I hope, is that they still have new growth on them that looks good so figures crossed, maybe they will pull through!  :dunno:
