I'm thinking of asking my daughter to come visit with the kids over the upcoming Easter weekend. I'd love for them to stay for the whole long weekend. Their little faces and laughter really fill my heart with joy. I'm worried she'll say no, but I guess I'll never know if I don't ask, right? It's been a few months since I've seen them and I'm really missing them!

There is a chance, yes, but she doesn't have much space in her home. It's filled with children's items that I constantly trip over.  :rofl: It would be better than not seeing them at all, though!

CountryMom, she might say no, but she might also say yes! :) You'll never know if you don't ask. If she ends up saying no, maybe you could go stay at her house for the weekend as an alternative. Or maybe she can come visit you for a day instead of the whole weekend. I know it's not what you'd want, but it would be better than not seeing them at all, right?

But let's hope for the best. I'll pray she says yes to your invitation! I can tell it would mean a lot to you . :)

Hey CountryMom, how did this go considering that the Easter weekend is here with us? Grandchildren are such a source of joy and I know that you wouldn't mind them coming over if at all your daughter wasn't able to make it. We have had a busy weekend here even though we didn't have all the guests as anticipated.
