Water

We all know the recommendation is 8-10 glasses a day. I've just recently started hitting that number because of my health issues. Almost anything except water hurts my stomach, so I've had a very boring few weeks beverage wise! However, I'm beginning to see the benefits. My skin seems smoother and I've lost some weight. How much water would you say you drink in a day?

That's great news, CountryMom!  How long have you been upping the water that you see results?  I use to drink a lot of water every day, but here now I have a problem with running to the restroom so I have cut way back and I know that is not good.  I do know the benefits of enough water!

It's been about six weeks now. I swear some of the skin around my eyes has popped back into place.  I've lost 18 pounds as well. I guess I can't attribute it strictly to water, but I feel it's been a massive help.

haha  I understand the part about the skin popping back out haha  but what do you contribute the GREAT weight loss to, besides the water?  I want to import your water.....    Congratulations by the way!  That is no small feat!   :13:

Thanks, Mary! I have only been able to handle very small meals due to the issues I'm having with my stomach. I would say I used to eat double the amount of food per meal that I eat right now, but I eat more often. So essentially it's the "eat small meals several times a day" diet plan. It also doesn't hurt that I had to cut out chocolate, candy, chips, soda, etc. If it were my choice, I'd still be eating tons of candy.
