Feeling Overwhelmed
« on: February 05, 2019, 06:36:11 AM »
I'm feeling a little overwhelmed right now. My mom and I went to see her neurologist, and he said that her Alzheimer's is progressing. I've noticed more forgetfulness lately and her needing more help with various tasks.

I'm also helping my daughter getting her nursery ready for her new baby. I told her I'd stay with them for at least the first few days after the baby is born because I can remember how overwhelming being a new mom was. I'm just feeling a bit overwhelmed with all that there is to do.

I know it will all work out fine. I just wish it were less stressful!

Thank you, MaryB! You are so sweet. :)

There are so many changes taking place right now, and I definitely have mixed emotions about it all. I pray every night that we all make it through in one piece!

You will be able to enjoy your baby more when you know your mom is stable..  When she is in a good place you will be too.  Here's where people that live in the moment have it easier, but most of us cant shut out thoughts, even when we are engaged with something else.  I suspect you are like that.  I am too.  Praying is the best thing you can do.  I pray for your peace..   :big hug smiley sign:
