Anyone else here simply addicted to coffee? I drink around a pot a day. I know it's bad for me to have so much caffeine, but I feel like I can't start my day without it.

I like coffee too, but I usually just drink it before work to wake myself up.  If you don't have any heart issues or other health problems, why limit the amount of coffee you drink?

I also love my daily one, two, or more cups. It's encouraging that there's more information now about coffee's health benefits. It's a great feeling holding that warm mug while sipping the rich flavors, too.

I'm drinking a cup right now at 8:00 p.m.  :13: I drink so much coffee that I think I'm immune to the effects of caffeine. It never keeps me awake at night, but it does help me get going in the morning.

I have found that if I take a B-12 supplement in the morning with the cups I drink, I don't need as much coffee. The time has come, for me at least, to moderate everything I consume.

It's that pesky "age" thing.

I'm trying to be moderate, too. Also, I'm fine with drinking instant, especially the kind that comes in single packs with added sugar and creamer.

A pot of coffee might last me until lunch! I have grown quite addicted to it over the years. If I don't have a cup of coffee in the morning I start to get a headache by the afternoon. All things considered it is probably the most mundane thing I could be addicted to, but this reminds me that drinking upwards of 2 pots a day is probably way too much for me. I never seem to get jittery from it though, but I certainly need it in the morning to get going.
