Medical insurances for the children
« on: October 31, 2018, 06:38:41 AM »
From all of the family insurances we have, the ones related to health are probably the most important. Now that our son is going to college soon, I wonder how we should handle his health coverage. Do I need to switch the plan? What kind of insurance plan is the most ideal?

We kept our daughter on our insurance for this year, but next year, we are going to transfer her to the health insurance her college offers. She can purchase the insurance for the year after she graduates, which I think will be helpful while she looks for a job.

That sounds nice. I wasn't sure if it would be helpful for job hunting in the future, so thanks for the tip. We also need to teach them about the insurances which is another thing I'm concerned with. How is it going with your daughter?
