The Bucket List
« on: August 31, 2018, 02:51:34 AM »
Hello ladies (and gents). I was looking for this topic and I was surprised that there is none yet. Let us talk about our bucket list. Don't be shy and tell us your bucket list no matter how crazy it sounds like.

I will list my top 3.

1.) Have our golden wedding anniversary in the Maldives.
2.) Get a chance to see my great-grandchild. (I don't even have a grandchild yet.)
3.) Learn how to surf.

Well well, you just made look back at all the things I wanted to achieve and/or experience at my age and I must say that faring badly would be an understatement. I always have wanted to fly in a hot air balloon, and get the nice experience that everyone talks about. Like MaryB, I also want to be a cruise ship, some day.

Cruising and riding a hot air balloon are good activities, but they do require a considerable amount of money for us to avail of their services. I also would like to add about the riding a helicopter as my fourth on my bucket list.

I probably should start working on my bucket list as well now that there are only two of us. Going for a cruise sounds brilliant, though I think we will enjoy traveling around the world better.

I hope to see more people sharing their bucket lists. I need inspirations!

Learn to surf that’s an exciting one, I’m guessing you live near the sea.

To go on lots of cycle routes before I’m too old to do them and have to go down the electric bike route  :017:  and to go up The Shard right to the top lol

I can only wish that I'm near the sea. The river and a small pond are the only bodies of water near us. My son showed me a video of him surfing and he challenged me to go surfing with him. That is the reason I listed that in my bucket list.

I've been wanting to see all 50 US states. Only 23 more to go! Some of the 27 states visited have been super-short trips, though.
