I almost always buy my swimwear at Target but it seems like most of the swimsuits they have out this season are for a much younger crowd - or maybe just a more confident one! I've seen some decent-looking ones on Amazon but I hate shopping for clothing online. Where do you all buy your swimwear? Is anyone else having trouble finding a suit that's modest without being matronly?

Have you checked some of the higher end department stores like Belk or Dillard's?   You may end up paying a little more for a swimsuit but you will have more choices and better quality.  Good Luck.  I gave up wearing a swimsuit several years ago.

Shopping for swimsuits has always been tricky for me, even back when I liked my body. I used to love Victoria's Secret. I hate that they don't make swimsuits anymore! Nordstrom Rack has good swimsuits sometimes. I've also found a couple cute ones on ModCloth that have a retro feel. Unfortunately, you'd have to buy those online so that probably wouldn't work for you. I don't mind buying online so long as there are free returns.

I have never tried to go the online route when looking for swimwear. There's a retail store that we used to frequent but they don't stock a variety of them now. At times it becomes tricky to find that balance but I always suggest that you get something that you can be comfortable in.

Wal-Mart actually has quite a few swimsuits to choose from.  Of course, the selection will vary by store, but if you go online, you can order one to the store.  It might be easier to return that way because Wal-Mart retail stores are everywhere.

Some of their selection does look matronly, but I saw that they also have some cute ones.  Good luck!
