Restless Sleep
« on: March 23, 2018, 04:54:15 PM »
Lately, I've been getting my eight hours of sleep (more or less), but it's been a while since I've woken up feeling truly rested. I don't know what the deal is. I've been using lavender for years to help me sleep, but that's just not doing the trick anymore. Has this happened to anyone else? Do you have any suggestions?

8 hours?  Oh my goodness, please tell me about this lavender..   If I get 4 hours straight I feel like running a marathon!  Not to make light of what you are saying though.  I hope someone has suggestions for you.   :big hug smiley sign:

Me too MaryB.  8 hours sleep would be a dream come true.  5 or 6 is my limit and it's not a sound sleep.  Some nights I see every hour on the hour.  I look forward to hearing from others on this subject.

8 hours of straight sleep is a really big deal. If I ever attempted this, I would wake up once or twice in the night. In fact, I have just gotten used to getting into bed (at times) a few minutes to midnight. I guess it would help if you first found out what's causing the loss of sleep.

Well, you guys aren't making me feel too bad about my sleep! If only it felt like I was getting my full eight hours! MaryB, I spray my linens with lavender spray and use a diffuser with lavender oil. Pretty much everything in my bedroom smells like it. It's helped me a lot!

Honestly though, I think I'm feeling restless because I must wake up during the night and just don't remember it the following morning. I can't think of any other reason.
