I think that if you're too heavy, then losing weight helps with heart health and I find the low-carb easiest to handle from others I've tried because I'm not hungry. It's one reason that low-carb is so popular. However, a low-carb meal plan also focuses on eating plenty of fats which might not work for heart health. Plus, the diet doesn't focus on eating foods that are low in sodium.
