How many of you are going to watch the eclipse tomorrow?  My neighbor and I think we may go sit on the beach and watch it over the ocean.  Not look straight at it you understand. Just watch what happens over the ocean as it gets dark.  May places are letting school out half day so the kids can watch it as well.  I'm not sure that's such a good idea.  Teachers will be missing a great learning opportunity.  Don't you think?

The eclipse is all anyone can talk about here.  We're supposed to be able to see it really well.  My husband and I have our glasses ready.  I'm surprised they've cancelled school.  Parents in my neck of the woods are upset because they have to find a babysitter.

I put our pets up to protect their eyes.  GOD bless them, the poor babies started their bedtime routine.  We do a round of food and snuggles before tucking in.  When the eclipse was over I let them out again and sure enough, they started back into their morning routine.  I don't think they're very smart.  The dogs that is.  The cats weren't fooled.

It takes a lot to fool a cat.  LOL!  Evidently we are in an area that didn't get the "full on" affect of the eclipse.  It got just a little dark, like dusk, and then within a few minutes everything was bright and back to normal again.
