Starting a flower garden
« on: May 25, 2017, 04:11:48 PM »
Ladies, this is one project that has been on my mind for a long time and I think it is time I went for it. I've already chosen a spot with good soil and the landscaper is about to start his work. I love how Penstemon produces very attractive flowers. What other varieties can I go for?

I know you said, "Ladies", haidyl, but from a guy's point of view, planting a garden with flowers depends upon which part of the country you reside. I mean, living down in Florida, for instance, would take consideration of the intense Florida sun beating down on your plants, requiring their resistance to direct sun, what can survive where, etc. Plan accordingly to save yourself from wasting money and grief with wilting flowers.
