Thanks for the welcome Jeanine. I have been reading a lot of the post and realize that I certainly am not alone in this empty nest thing! I did make another post and look forward to hearing from some of the other members.

@Jo Hi there, I hope you can see this message somehow and take the time to read the posts on this topic. Many of us here felt the same way when it first happened to us. Some might not make a full 100% recovery, but we could get through this together. Hang in there!

What kind of things have you tried? Maybe you've told your spouse about your anxiety? What about the past hobbies you mentioned?
