Old Balloon
« on: May 09, 2015, 07:56:16 AM »
Mother's day, before my son passed away in October, 2006, he gave me one of those helium balloons that said Happy Mother's Day.  I still have it all folded and tucked away in my drawer.  I'll get it out tomorrow and remember some of the good things about his life then put it away again till next year.
I don't mean this to be a sad post but just an insight to what losing a child can mean.  These are happy memories. :)

Kidless- I'm so sorry for your loss, but it's good to know that the memories you have attached to that balloon are good ones. I'm sure that is what he would want to see, you being happy on this special day.
