Another Easter

Holidays are always hard when you have lost someone you love.  My heart goes out to anyone who is still grieving over a son, daughter, mother or father.  I still expect to see that black pickup truck pull in my driveway at any time.  He always loved my ham and potato salad.

I still feel like that too kidless on holidays or special family occasions. You can be having a nice time but then you start to feel that 'lump' in your chest reminding you that someone is missing. Not to sure that it will every go away. I hope you managed to have a nice Easter.

:( I'm sorry. Holidays are tough when you lose someone. I think about my grandparents often. My parents and daughter are still with me (thankfully). I can't imagine losing a child. Hugs to both of you.

I don't think it ever will Jeanine.  It's been 9 years now and although it's not as fresh as it was, the "lump" catches me at the most inopportune times.  I did have a good Easter and hope you did as well.  I had the other 2 kids and the grandkids here for dinner and we had a wonderful time.
